Throughout the past few decades, the power of George Maziarz has gone WAY up. From the days of firing Lucille Britt and putting that schmuck Mike Norris in her job (I think he was 12) to State Supreme Court Justice Richard Kloch hearing a Republican Town Court Justice's Court Case, it
just gets better and better.
The Senator's wife is Dick's Confidential Secretary. I guess she deserves SOMETHING for being George's wife, but a job like THIS that pays a bundle when she has NO experience is a joke and a half. I don't think being a sales clerk at Lerch & Daly is worthwhile legal experience, do you?
Norris, when he WAS Republican Elections Commissioner, managed to avoid jail time for the same thing the Democratis Elections Commissioner did and WENT TO JAIL for is pretty bad. Mike is just as bad - he gets to sing like a canary (no charges) and then goes off to Albany with George and goes to Law School. Nice bit.
Take the Wojtaszeks! Henry is in charge for so long as Republican County Chairman, his wife gets to be Sperrazza's Law Clerk (NICE gig) after she was an Assistant D.A., Ron Winter, anyone? Longtime friend of the Senator. Paul Wojtaszek starts in the D.A.'s Office (not good) is a County Legislator and now is "running" for Supreme Court? The guy couldn't tie his own shoelaces. Even their sister, an attorney, God knows how that happened, was handed plum part-time gigs year after year and she couldn't understand a Golden Book.
It's all connected to George.
